Camp Stoney INFORMATION

The Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande offers Camp Stoney sessions for youth and families each June at Bishop's Ridge. All of our formation will use age appropriate materials that help campers to know the love of Jesus Christ and live into their personal call from the Holy Spirit. In addition to a spirit-filled formation program, we will have great fun with archery, hiking, swimming, games, arts & crafts, music, worship and, of course, S’mores!  As Camp Stoney is a Christian camp, campers will spend time studying the Holy Bible, using the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, and will be expected to participate in worship.

All staff and volunteers have had Safe Church Safe Community training appropriate to participating at an Overnight Camp with minors. Additionally, our staff are certified in CPR and outdoor sports safety each year prior to Camp Stoney beginning. We also ensure that our Lifeguards are certified and that there are no water sports without the required certified Lifeguard and oversight, as recommended by the American Camp Association by which Camp Stoney is certified.

Join us for a special time in the mountains near Santa Fe, where our youth will have the opportunity to spend time with each other learning more about their faith journey.

SNOW SLAM InFORMATION

Snow Slam Registration is NOW CLOSED!

Due to an overwhelming number of registrations, the vans are full!!!

Road Trip! We are going to El Paso and Cloudcroft.

Our intrepid Snow Slammers will travel to El Paso (except for our El Paso folks, who have the chance to host this shindig!) and engage in some fun getting to know one another, taking a trip out to Cloudcroft to Snow Tube, learn a bit about Peace Making, and worship with the great folks at St. Christopher’s.

As with any event, please don’t let distance or cost get in the way of participation. Contact Rev. Le Anna Brun, Missioner for Christian Formation or your local Clergy Person to discuss how we can get your youth or young adult to the event.
