The Diocese of the Rio Grande will once again be offering Summer Camp sessions for youth and families this summer at Camp Stoney. (Click here for an overview of our facilities and accommodations.)  All of our formation will use age appropriate materials that help campers explore the missional aspect of our faith, and learn more about practicing the Way of Love. In addition to a spirit-filled formation program, we will have great fun with climbing, hiking, swimming, games, arts & crafts, music, worship and, of course, S’mores!  Join us for a special time in the Sangre de Cristos, where our youth will have the opportunity to spend time with each other learning more about their faith journey.

We are offering two youth-centered sessions this summer:

Mission: How will they know we are Christians? 

Session I: June 16-22 (Rising 3rd- 8th grade)

Session II: June 23-29 (Rising 7th-12th grade)

Due to its popularity last summer, we will be offering two family-centered sessions:

The Very Best Weekend Ever! 

Session I: June 14-16

Session I is being offered as a bilingual Spanish-English program.

Session II: June 30-July 2nd 

As always, we would love to have volunteers to help make this a great summer experience for our diocesan youth and families. If you are interested in assisting with any of the camp sessions, we always need Formation Leads/Chaplains, Nurses/Doctors, and other adult volunteers. For any clergy or DRG members who wish to visit their camper(s) there will be a daily charge of $25 and they will need to register their visit and provide their Safe Church/Safe Community compliance certification.  Information for applying as a Counselor or Counselor in Training will also be available soon.
